Badam oil is one of the most versatile oils in any Indian home. Moonplix Sweet Almond Oil (Prunus Amygdalus Dulcis) is virgin and cold pressed – the almonds are pressed without high heat, so the oil keeps its natural aroma, light texture and the nutrients it is valued for, including vitamin E and essential fatty acids.
One oil for hair, face, skin and nails
- Hair: massage into the scalp and lengths before washing for soft, shiny, manageable hair. Regular oiling helps keep a dry, flaky scalp moisturised.
- Face and skin: a few drops on damp skin after a bath help lock in moisture and leave skin soft and supple.
- Under-eye and lips: a gentle, light oil for a nightly massage of dry areas.
- Nails and cuticles: rub a drop into cuticles to keep them soft.
Why cold pressed matters
Cold pressing extracts oil mechanically instead of with heat or chemical solvents. The result is a purer oil that stays closer to the nut it came from – no additives, nothing taken away.
Who is it for?
Everyone in the family, for all hair and skin types. Its light, non-greasy texture makes it a good choice for those who find heavier oils sticky.
For external use only. Do a patch test on the inner arm 24 hours before first use. Keep away from eyes and out of reach of children. Store in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight.
- For hair: warm a little oil and massage into the scalp and lengths for 5–10 minutes.
- Leave it on for 1–2 hours or overnight, then wash with a mild shampoo.
- For skin: apply a few drops to damp skin after a bath and massage until absorbed.
- For lips and cuticles: massage in a drop at night.
Can I use almond oil on my face?
Yes. Apply a few drops to clean, damp skin. Do a patch test first if you have sensitive or acne-prone skin.
Is it sticky?
No. Sweet almond oil is light and absorbs well, so it feels comfortable on hair and skin.
