Castor oil has earned its place in every hair-care routine. Moonplix Castor Oil is cold pressed and extra virgin – thick, rich and naturally high in ricinoleic acid, the fatty acid that gives castor oil its famous nourishing feel.

Tip: mix it for easy application
Castor oil is naturally thick. For an easier massage, mix one part castor oil with two parts Moonplix Sweet Almond Oil or Coconut Oil, warm slightly and apply to the scalp and lengths.
Who is it for?
All hair types – especially dry, thin or breakage-prone hair – for men and women.
For external use only. Do a patch test on the inner arm 24 hours before first use. Keep away from eyes and out of reach of children. Store in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight.
- Mix a little castor oil with a lighter oil such as almond or coconut (optional).
- Apply to the scalp and lengths and massage for 5–10 minutes.
- Leave it on for 1–2 hours or overnight.
- Wash with a mild shampoo; you may need to shampoo twice.
- For brows: apply a tiny amount with a clean spoolie at night.
Why is castor oil so thick?
Castor oil is naturally dense because of ricinoleic acid. Mixing it with a lighter oil makes it easier to apply.
