The overnight olive oil treatment
Once a week, massage warm olive oil into the scalp and lengths, wrap your hair in a soft towel or shower cap and leave it on overnight. Wash with a mild shampoo the next morning and finish with conditioner on the ends.
Who is it for?
All hair types, and especially dry, curly, frizzy or chemically treated hair.
For external use only. Do a patch test on the inner arm 24 hours before first use. Keep away from eyes and out of reach of children. Store in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight.
- Take a small amount of oil in your palm (warm it slightly between your hands).
- Part your hair into sections and apply the oil to the scalp and lengths.
- Massage gently with your fingertips for 5–10 minutes in circular movements.
- Leave it on for at least 1–2 hours, or overnight for a deeper treatment.
- Wash with a mild shampoo. Use 2–3 times a week.
Is olive oil good for frizzy hair?
Yes. Its rich texture coats the hair and helps reduce frizz. Use a small amount on the ends after washing too.
Can I use it on my body?
Yes. Massage a few drops into damp skin after a bath.
Will it make my hair greasy?
Use a small amount and wash it out with a mild shampoo. Shampoo twice if your hair is fine.
